The Rose Sachs Garden

We instantly fell in love with this place the minute we got there. The Rose Sachs Garden is located up Parley's Canyon which is halfway between Salt Lake City and Park City. This garden is well situated up the canyon with wandering stone paths, a small brook, and several waterfalls throughout.
Now, as you are all probably well aware, we really don't like to do anything easy and in keeping with that, getting to this place can be a bit tricky. I have put a link up with a map and directions which you can print out. We could also caravan up there together. We will post more on that as we get closer to the date. Once again the wedding is at 4PM, so bring your dancing shoes, and a light jacket as the mountains do get a little chilly in the evenings.

The Big Day

We are getting married on June 29, 2009 at Rose Sachs Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ceremony will start around 4PM with the reception to immediately follow at the same site. We are really thrilled to have Justin's uncle, Steve Altstatt, officiating the ceremony. The menu for the afternoon will be as Becky likes to call it, "fancy backyard bbq", with great music, and (hopefully) beautiful weather in this awesome montain setting.

Introduction

Hello Friends and Family,
We thought it would be a good idea for us to put this little site together to share all of the information regarding our upcoming wedding. Hopefully this will help things go a little more smoothly and make travel for everyone a bit easier. Justin and I are really honored that so many of our guests are coming from so far away and we are excited to see each and every one of you.

Travel & Accommodations

The easiest way to get to us is to fly into Salt Lake City International (SLC). We have booked a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn, downtown Salt Lake City. The hotel does provide a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but there are several car rental companies at the airport. Or take a Ute Cab (at your own risk).

We are able to increase the number of rooms in this block, however, if you would like to stay somewhere else, any hotel in the downtown Salt Lake area, or University of Utah area, should be relatively close to us. Feel free to call us for a recommendation or more information.
